It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re celebrating in style with Christmas Dress-Up Week! From Monday 15th to Saturday 20th December, dancers are invited to show off their holiday spirit by coming to class in fun, festive outfits all week long.

This isn’t a fundraiser, just a joyful way to celebrate the last week of classes before Christmas and spread a little Christmas cheer around the studio! Whether it’s sparkly tinsel, Santa hats, or your best elf-inspired dance wear, we can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity and festive flair.

Let’s finish the term with lots of laughter, smiles, and Christmas sparkle on the dance floor! 💃✨🎁

We’re excited to invite our students to a Christmas Movie Night at DSD Studio! Join us for a festive evening of holiday fun, treats, and cinema, all while supporting our upcoming show.

📅 Date: Friday, 19th December
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
📍 Location: DSD Studio

Important Information for Parents:

• This is a children-only event; parents are kindly asked not to stay.
• We recommend a small entry donation of £3–£5, which will go towards fundraising for our show.
• There will be a bake sale during the evening, and we would love for children or families to bring along some baking to share.

It’s a magical way for students to enjoy a festive night out while helping to make our show extra special!

We are delighted to announce that there will be a show rehearsal for P3+ students only on Sunday, 18th January 2026 at East Linton Community Hall from 9:30am – 12:30pm.

• This will not be a dress rehearsal.
• Dancers may wear any dance wear they like, but hair should be neat and tidy.
• Please bring all shoes required for each dance.
  
  • Tap shoes must not be worn during this rehearsal.
• Attendance is compulsory for all students taking part in the show.

Join us on Friday 27th February 2026, from 6:00–8:30pm for a fun evening of entertainment.

Entry: £5 per pupil

There will also be a bake sale, and we would love for families to bake something delicious to share!

All money raised will go towards our next school show, helping us make it even bigger and better!

Don’t miss out on this exciting evening, it’s a great way to enjoy the show together on the big screen!

• How it works: For every day your child attends class during this week, £1 will go towards supporting our next show.
• Fun twist: Children are invited to wear their favourite pyjamas to class.
