We are delighted to announce we will be holding a comp team show at Hallhill on Friday 27th February 2026. More details will be out soon but this will be a fundraising event for our dancers.
All groups will be performing. 2 groups will be competing and 2 groups will be performing in the showcase. This will allow everyone the chance to perform. If a group was ever to get through we would try add more from other teams.

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to our Competition Team. Participation requires commitment, teamwork, and clear communication between students, parents, and staff. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth and successful competition year.
Students and parents must be fully committed to the Competition Team. Attendance and dedication are essential for the success of the group.
To cover the cost of maintaining and updating team costumes, we require an annual costume hire fee. This is significantly less than purchasing costumes outright and must be paid at the start of the competition year.
Mini Competition Team £10
Junior Competition Team £10
Mids Competition Team £15
Senior Competition Team £15
All Competition Team members must own and wear the designated team uniform:
Any of the DSD branded items.
Please inform us as soon as possible if your child cannot attend a competition. Most competitions require entries and deposits around 6 months prior to the competition, if we do not hear from you, we will presume your child is attending.
Every absence requires us to restructure routines, which affects the entire group. Each change means other dancers must relearn positions and may perform under additional pressure. Your cooperation and communication are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our Competition Team. Together, we can ensure that every student has a rewarding, positive, and successful experience.
